# Car won’t start? We’ll jump start it

Flat battery? Call a driver with a jump starter in Telegram. They come to your car in Teofipol or within 30 km of it and start it on the spot.

The bot shows both amounts before you call. Didn’t start? You only pay for the call-out.

## How to call a driver

A few taps in the same bot you use to order a taxi.

1. **Tap “Car won’t start?”.** The button sits at the bottom of the map in @teo_taxi_bot.
2. **Mark where the car is.** Move the map until the pin sits right on the car. You can add its make and colour.
3. **The driver is on the way.** You see their car on the map with the arrival time, and you can call them.
4. **The engine is running.** Pay the driver in cash or by card. Didn’t start? Then only the call-out.

## Which cars

Check before you call. The jump starter is made for ordinary passenger cars.

- Fits: A passenger car on petrol, diesel or LPG
- Fits: A 12 V battery
- Fits: You are by the car and the bonnet opens
- Does not fit: 24 V battery, electric car, hybrid, lorry, tractor

## Started? Keep the engine running for 20–30 minutes

The battery needs to recharge. If the car won’t start again tomorrow, it is time for a new battery.

### How much is a jump start?

It depends on where the car is. The bot shows two amounts before you call: one if the car starts and one if it doesn’t. They don’t change after you order.

### What if the car still won’t start?

Then you only pay for the driver’s call-out. Most likely the problem is not the battery.

### Which cars can you jump start?

Passenger cars on petrol, diesel or LPG with a 12 V battery. We don’t jump start cars with a 24 V battery, electric cars, hybrids, lorries or tractors.

### Do I need to be by the car?

Yes. Be at the car when the driver arrives, and check that the bonnet opens.

### Who comes to jump start the car?

An independent driver with a jump starter. We take your order in the bot and pass it to the nearest available driver. You pay the driver directly.

### How do I pay?

In cash or by card, to the driver, just like a ride. If you need a receipt, tell the driver.

### Why is there no “Car won’t start?” button in the bot?

It shows up when a driver with a jump starter is on shift. If you don’t see it right now, check back a little later.
